Sarah Rappoport - Mezzo-Soprano

Sarah is a 21-year-old Swiss mezzo-soprano/contralto currently studying at the Royal Northern College of Music with Elizabeth Ritchie.
Sarah's role repertoire ranges from contemporary original works Beth Slater (Silverwood/RNCM Community Opera) to classical such as Zweite Knabe (Die Zauberflöte/Berlin Opera Academy), all the way through 20th century in her upcoming Smeraldine (L’Amour des Trois Oranges/RNCM).
Most recently, Sarah was part of the 2025 Grange Park Opera season chorus which included a world premiere of Khan's Taj Mahal as well as Simon Boccanegra, Madama Butterfly, and Mazeppa.
In concert, she has sang with Tallis Consort, Orchestra OperaViva, and at the Lerici Music Festival where she performed Juliana Hall’s A World Turned Upside Down in 2024, and Sarah looks forward to an upcoming debut with Halle Orchestra in 2025.
